Hayley Orrantia, an American performer, songwriter and actress. Many people recognize her by the title of Erica Goldberg, from the television comedy 'The Goldbergs. Her primary focus is as an actor. At the age of 9 of age, she was playing around with music. As she grew to 12 years old, her music began to take on a serious nature and she began professional training. In the age of 13, she began creating songs. She recorded her debut album at 14 years old. The rest is history. Orrantia is a native of the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic roots. Although she spoke only English as a child and never visited Mexico, Orrantia is extremely happy with her Hispanic background. Through studying Spanish and composing songs, she strives to preserve the tradition. "Hasta Verte" is a song in Spanish that she's recorded is a good instance. Orrantia participated in The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia's YouTube video was picked and she got four "yeses" which is a vote by the judges at The Seattle audition. Though she initially auditioned as a solo artist, during "Hollywood Week" the singer, along with three female performers were placed in groups for the remaining part in the selection process. They were eliminated from the program during the fifth live week.
