The birth of Kellie Dawn Pickler on June 28 1986 Pickler was a difficult childhood. Her mother left her at the age of two in order to get out of the abuse of her partner. Pickler's mother returned in 1995 back to her home and was given full custody. The situation did not work around as planned. When Pickler was 12years old, the court transferred her to her maternal grandparents which raised her to adulthood. Pickler could not be a parent to her children when they were absent. She confessed that, in absence of both parents Pickler's schedule was so busy that she could not go to school. Instead she started to teach herself how to look after her family at an earlier time. Pickler was a member of the middle and high school's cheerleading squad. North Stanly High School was where Pickler graduated from in the year 2004. Her modeling career began when she was just a few years old and in 1984 she made her acting debut in the film Once Upon a Time in America. After working in the field of professional modeling some time, she made the decision to concentrate on acting. Her roles included films, including the horror movie Phenomena as well as the musical Labyrinth as well as the romantic comedy career Opportunities; and the superhero period drama The Rocketeer.
