Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author, model and actor. Her work has received acclaim for her roles in films such as Love Story (from 1970), Goodbye Columbus, (1969) as well as The Getaway, (1972). New York was her home and she grew up in a creative environment. Her first job was as an assistant to photographers. She then moved on to modelling and acting. The award she received was the Golden Globe Award, for the most promising young talent. MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned the world to her in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. With just three releases MacGraw was named the top female box-office debut worldwide. The Grauman's Chinese Theater signed her name with handprints, foot prints and handprints in 1972. The other films she has appeared on comprise The Getaway Convoy Players, the miniseries on TV The Winds of War and other. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw has been married three times.
